Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu may attend the NITI Aayog’s Governing Council Meeting in Delhi tomorrow. The meeting, to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was earlier scheduled on Saturday but was changed after Naidu and some other CMs wrote to the Center to change due to their commitments on the occasion of Eid.
Chandrababu Naidu, however, is planning to boycott the meeting with the Prime Minister and the address of the PM as a mark of protest for the injustice meted to Andhra Pradesh by the Union Government since the Bifurcation.
Naidu will also read out a speech written about the injustice in detail. This is probably the last meeting of the NITI Aayog Governing Council. The final decision of the boycott will be taken later on in the day after discussing with the Seniors and Ministers.
