TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu the other day has hinted about early elections to Andhra Pradesh. Speculations are on that the elections may happen anytime in 2018. On the other side, Chandrababu who has concentrated solely on administration these three years decided to take the reins of the party himself.

These three years, Nara Lokesh and Kala Venkat Rao handled the party affairs. Both of them were promoted to the cabinet and Naidu himself will be overseeing the party affairs till the elections. Naidu will be dedicating 2-3 hours of time for the party every day after 6 PM.

The first task would be to create the coordination between the defected MLAs who became Ministers and the remaining MLAs of the concerned districts. Once that is complete, Naidu will start picking up candidates for the each constituency.

On the other side, Naidu is still waiting for the clarity from the central government about the delimitation. The dynamics will change a lot if that happens and so a clarity on that will be needed before he sits for choosing the candidates for 2019 elections.
