Former Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Brother, Kishore Kumar Reddy joined the ruling Telugu Desam Party the other day in the presence of CM Chandrababu Naidu and was immediately made the in charge of Pileru Constituency.
While admitting Kishore into the party, Naidu also sent feelers to Kiran Kumar Reddy. Naidu praised their father Amarnath Reddy and remembered how they worked together previously in Congress. He also praised Kiran for trying to stall the bifurcation even being the Chief Minister.
Kiran and Naidu do not see eye to eye. When Kiran became speaker, Chandrababu, the Opposition Leader back then did not give any welcome statement and did not support his candidature for speaker post, which is said to be honorary post as per the constitution.
After failing to stall the bifurcation, Kiran started Jai Samaikyandhra Party but failed to win even a single seat in 2014 election. Kishore came second in Pileru ahead of TDP Candidate. There are rumours that Kiran may join BJP or Congress but that did not happen. Seems like Naidu is keen on having Kiran in TDP keeping their rivalry aside.
