Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly mulling over a reshuffle of his cabinet, months after his last rejig. Reports are emerging that the two BJP Ministers in the cabinet will be replaced by another two of the same party.
The rejig will give importance to Reddys and BCs. On the other side, Chandrababu is getting periodic survey reports about the performance of the MLAs. Sources say that the performance of 63 MLAs is not up to the mark.
They are looking to survive on Chandrababu Naidu’s image and the goodwill on the party. Chandrababu will organize a meeting of all the legislators and will give them a final warning that the 63 MLAs may not get tickets the next time.
The process of identification of candidates for the constituencies where TDP lost in the last elections also began. The plan of the party is to finalize the candidates for the most seats by the end of 2018 and give them enough time on the ground.
