Reports emerging from various media houses suggest that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is contemplating to elevate his son, Nara Lokesh to a much responsible position. He is planning to deploy Lokesh as Special Representative of Andhra Pradesh in Delhi so as to liaison with the center.
Lokesh will have to follow-up with all the ministers about various allocations to the state and bring as much as funds as possible. In way, this is more a burden than elevation as he is to share Naidu’s work load and has little chances to get accolades as the Center is looking very insensitive to Andhra Pradesh needs.
In way this is certainly a calculated risk being taken by Naidu but then, can be considered good in the interests of the state. Lokesh will have easy access to all Central Ministers given that he is the son of the Chief Minister who is very much revered in national politics.
