Chandrababu Naidu Once Again Desperate to Have His Foothold in TelanganaAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu made a very loud campaign against KCR in the recent elections alleging that he is helping YSR Congress behind the scenes. Naidu was apparently using the same technique used by KCR against him in the Telangana Assembly Elections.

Things have changed drastically even since the elections and the other day, Naidu has announced that he is open to any party including Rival TRS joining the anti-BJP front headed by Congress. Chandrababu extending an olive branch to TRS is not anything new and it only indicates Naidu’s desperation to get his foothold back in Telangana.

In 2015, Naidu tried to trouble KCR in the MLC Elections but in the process got tangled in Cash for Vote controversy which wiped out TDP from Telangana. Later he tried for an alliance with TRS just before the Assembly Elections under Velkam formula but KCR is not ready to give a lifeline.

After fighting the election with Congress and later lambasting TRS in the recent AP Elections, Naidu seems to have taken yet another flip-flop opening the gate for KCR. This is an offer made to KCR who has been meeting only the partners of UPA and inviting them to his Federal Front. In all probability, unless voters sprint a surprise, Naidu will be disappointed once again.
