Chandrababu Naidu Offers All Help to Odisha GovernmentAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has reviewed Cyclone Fani and the readiness of the government in dealing with it. According to the Real Time Governance System, Cyclone Fani is expected to make its landfall in Puri, Odisha. Chandrababu Naidu called Odisha Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik and shared this information.

He also extended all possible help to Odisha Government to avert this crisis. “As a neighboring state, it is always needed to employ ‘give and take’ policy,” Chandrababu said. Andhra Pradesh Government previously extended 30 Crore for the restoration of Power in Odisha.

Cyclone Fani is expected to affect 15 Mandals and 200 villages in Srikakulam. The government has arranged 120 Relief Camps and deployed Three IAS Officers to deal with evacuation and relief measures. On the other side, the Chief Minister wrote to the Central Election Commission to relax the Model Code of Conduct in Uttarandhra and East Godavari to effectively deal with the situation.
