Chandrababu-Naidu-Not-Keen-on-Playing-in-to-the-Hands-of-CongressA few days ago, DMK president MK Stalin went on to say that Congress President Rahul Gandhi is going to be the Prime Minister candidate from the non BJP parties. Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress immediately objected to that and now TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu also did the same.

“We have no connection with Stalin’s statement about Rahul Gandhi. I will announce my choice for the Prime Minister only after the elections in case UPA will be able to form the government at the center,” Naidu said at a conclave arranged by India today in a conversation with Senior Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai.

With this statement, Naidu has sent a message that is that he is not here to dance to the tunes of Congress. It is clear that Naidu has joined hands with Congress only to bring down Narendra Modi government but has his own agenda when it comes to the national politics. On the other side with the recent results in Telangana, there are speculations that Naidu may do away with the alliance in Andhra Pradesh while still supporting Congress at the National level.
