BJP President Amit Shah is in Andhra Pradesh. He launched a Bus Yatra of BJP State President, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana which will cover 85 constituencies in 15 days. The yatra which begins from Srikakulam will end in Adoni constituency of Kurnool District. On this occasion, Amit Shah launched an all-out attack on Chandrababu Naidu.
Amit Shah claimed that Chandrababu Naidu is directly connected to corruption and has nothing to do with the development. The BJP President also alleged large scale corruption in the Capital Amaravati and Polavaram project construction. He also said that Chandrababu may comeback to NDA after 2019 elections but they will not allow him.
On the other side, TDP activists protested against Amit Shah’s visit and his comment on Chandrababu Naidu in Srikakulam. Activists shouting Go Back slogans against Shah. They also burnt his effigy for not fulfilling promises made in Andhra Pradesh Reorganization act including the Special Status for the State. This is Amit Shah’s first visit to AP after TDP pulled out of NDA the last year.
