NDA Presidential Candidate, Ram Nath Kovind submitted his nomination in the presence of stalwarts of Indian Politics a little while ago. Chandrababu Naidu signed one of four sets of nomination papers including Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Prakash Singh Badal.
KCR attending the Nomination Ceremony was most talked about given that TRS is not part of NDA. LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Sushma Swaraj who are in the probables of President’s race were also present at the event.
Former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar is the Candidate of the Opposition led by Congress. She is likely to file her nomination on 27th or 28th. Polling for the country’s top titular post will take place on 17 July and counting of votes will happen on 20 July.
