TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu announced a mini-manifesto named ‘Bhavishyattu Ku Guarantee’ at Rajamahendravaram Mahanadu. The Mini Manifesto has six schemes targeting women, youth, and BCs.
The mini-manifesto is designed in a way to target women, youth, farmers, and BCs. The schemes are especially very impressive for women voters.
The full-fledged manifesto will be out for Vijayadasami. TDP leaders and cadre have enough time to take this manifesto to the people. Meanwhile, YSR Congress is confused about how to approach this manifesto.
It is easy to make even bigger promises than TDP. But then, that would not work for a party in power. Adding enhanced promises in the manifesto will not work. Voters expect the ruling party to implement them now itself.
There is no chance of saying what we will do if we come to power because they are already in power. But implementing them is impossible because of the bad financial condition of the state.
In fact, Jagan will look to remove some of the existing schemes if voted to power in 2024. The schemes may continue but the beneficiaries will be decreased in the name of new rules. At that juncture, implementing enhanced schemes is impossible. So, Jagan is cornered and confused about how to approach this.
