Modi will be looking at TDP to renominate at least one of them.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17th of this month in Delhi to discuss the drought conditions existing in the state. On the sidelines of the meeting, Naidu will explain to the Prime Minister how giving a Rajya Sabha seat to TDP will be tough, with out Center helping the state in any ways.

The people of the state are seething in anger on the Center after it clarified that Special Status can not be granted. Naidu will serve an ultimatum that only Special Status or Special Package announcement will pacify the people. This is the first time Naidu has got a chance to bargain with BJP after 2014 elections.
