Governments are always conscious of Opposition and their movements as it would defeat the actual purpose of electoral politics. But some how, the ruling governments in both the Telugu States are at advantage of ineffective opposition. In Telangana, it is a case of minimal presence and in Andhra, the lack of trust on opposition.
Also from the day, Chandrababu Naidu came to power, he is considering Jana Sena as a formidable opposition than the main opposition, YSR Congress. We have seen the Chief Minister reacting sharply on the concerns raised by Pawan Kalyan. Be it Amaravati Land Acquisition or the Mega Aqua Food Processing Park in Godavari districts, Naidu immediately reacted on the issues.
While the outcome of the issues did not change anything drastic after Pawan Kalyan’s interference, Naidu certainly did give the due respect to the Jana Senani. It can be as a gratitude for the help he rendered in the last elections or it can be out of making him a formidable force by ignoring him or it can be the conscious effort to send positive signals to the Kapu Caste and Youth following of the actor.
It is also evident that Jagan Mohan Reddy is insecure about Pawan Kalyan occupying his ‘Opposition’ space in Andhra Politics. We have also seen how Jagan unleashed all his forces on Pawan Kalyan trying him to distant from the TDP government. They accuse him of playing hand in glove with Naidu diluting all the opposition movements. Pawan Kalyan will be happy that he is creating enough buzz even before arriving into full time politics.
