Andhra Pradesh Assembly is sitting for the budget session in the Interim Assembly Building in Velagapudi from today which is the first Assembly Session in Andhra Pradesh post the state bifurcation. Opposition YSRC leaders, including Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, Md Mustafa, former Minister K Parthasarathy, visited the new Assembly building the other day.
They have tested all the facilities in the building including the mike installed on the table of YSRC chief and Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. YSR Congress Leaders are irked by finding that there are no fans in the Assembly and Council. They alleged that the government ignored fans inside the House as it is the election symbol of the YSRCP.
“Of course, the Assembly and Council buildings have centralized air conditioning facility. However, the government should have installed fans as most of the Assemblies, despite having an air-conditioned facility, have fans. They only did because they fear fan which is our party symbol,” they said.
