Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s Security Cover was enhanced once again. In the wake of recent warnings from Maoists and the previous experiences, the state government has decided to strengthen Chief Minister Security Group (CMSG). The State Finance Department has agreed to create 290 new Posts in this Group.
Previously in the United State, there used to be 338 Posts in CMSG but Andhra Pradesh has got only 196 after the state division. Hence there is a scarcity of Security forced for Naidu. These 290 new posts will be used in Vijayawada and Hyderabad. The home department put up the proposal and Finance Ministry okayed it now.
Once they are inducted, they will be guarding Chandrababu’s Undavalli Residence, Vijayawada Camp Office and the security of Chandrababu family in Hyderabad. In the first security layer, National Security Guards will be present as Chandrababu has Z category security. All the visitors including TDP leaders have to undergo strict checking before entering inside.
Only VIPs with Protocol and Party Senior Leaders will have an exemption. Common People can meet the Chief Minister only with a prior appointment. Additional forces will be deployed when Naidu is in district tours. These new arrangements will make Chandrababu, the Chief Minister with highest security cover in the country
