One of the biggest allegation over Chandrababu Naidu in this regime so far is that unnecessary Land Pooling for Amaravati. Opposition Parties allege that 33000 acres of land is not at all necessary and the Capital can be built in some 2500 acres. Even an expert like Jaya Prakash Narayana endorses this view but then they are proved all wrong.
Recently, the state government put up a request to Microsoft for a development center in Amaravati and their response assures Naidu is on right track. Microsoft was offered all sorts of incentives but what they asked for is very different. They brought to the notice of the government that they need swimming pools, 24×7 restaurants, golf course, five-star hotels, big super bazaars and other things in the area for their staff.
In short, they need a better infrastructure and livable conditions in Amaravati so as to provide top class facilities to their employees. And that is what Chandrababu is saying from day one. The Chief Minister is maintaining that Capital Construction is not about constructing few buildings but is all about preparing an ecosystem needed to attract businesses. Microsoft’s claim just reiterates Naidu’s stand.
