The much awaited appointment of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu with Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow is now postponed. AP CMO had informed the media about the postponement.
The reason behind the postponement is not known. CMO Press release says that the meeting with the PM is likely to take place on 25th, 28th, 29th or 31st of the month. It is for the Prime Minister’s office to confirm the exact date and time of the appointment.
This meeting assumes huge significance as Naidu and Modi are likely to take a final stand about the Special Status and Special Package promised to Andhra Pradesh. There is a deep resentment in AP people about the apathy of Center towards the truncated state.
