Pawan_Kalyan_KondaGattuIt looks almost certain that TDP and Janasena will sail together in 2024. It has to be seen how they will approach seat-sharing. How they approach seat-sharing is very important.

Earlier today, Pawan Kalyan in his speech at Kondagattu made an interesting comment on alliances.

“We are with BJP. If BJP says No, we will go for new alliances. Time will decide on the 2014 combination. If alliances do not materialize, we will go alone,” he said.

It appears like Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan are keen on having BJP on their side because they fear the Central Government will help YSR Congress during the elections just like how they did in 2019.

But the problem here is that BJP will be big baggage. The Saffron party has a very poor image in Andhra Pradesh after going back on all bifurcation promises.

Moreover, there are at least twenty seats where minorities are in decisive numbers. These seats may be lost if BJP is a part of the alliance.

In 2014, the minorities did not matter much because the election is more after having experienced leadership after the bifurcation.
