KCR- chandraabu naidu - JDS KumaraswamyKarnataka’s New Chief Minister, HD Kumaraswamy gave his first Exclusive Interview to The Week after taking the oath and in this interview, he was asked about who influenced his decision to choose Congress over BJP and Kumaraswamy came up with an interesting answer.

“Many National Leaders including Chief Ministers – Mamatha Banerjee, N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhara Rao advised me to go with the Congress to form a Secular Government in Karnataka,” Kumaraswamy said.

Interestingly, both Chandrababu and KCR are fighting Congress in their states. Mamata is favouring an alliance with Congress at the National Level but the party is a formidable force in West Bengal. But all three of them took Congress side to counter BJP.
