ChandrababuNaidu-NarendraModi-NareshGujaralOne more ally, JD(U) has exited NDA the last week. Ever since 2014, around two dozen alliance partners have left the NDA. Nitish Kumar leaving now is significant.

Naresh Gujaral, son of Former Prime Minister IK Gujaral in a National media debate said that Chandrababu’s entry into the NDA in 2014 changed the game.

“In was in a way, I helped to bring Chandrababu Naidu into the NDA in 2014. He was a force multiplier for sure. Once he came, the sentiment changed in the South,” Naresh Gujaral said.

Akali Dal, TDP, and Shiv Sena were long-term partners of NDA. TDP is no longer with NDA.

Akali Dal has quit NDA over Farm Bills in 2020. BJP engineered a split in Shiv Sena.

But then, BJP is in the prime right now basking on Narendra Modi’s popularity but once that popularity wanes off, NDA will struggle due to partners because of the way they ill-treated them.
