Chandra-Babu's-vote-becomes

Is Chandra Babu’s vote going to be invalid? Has he violated the election code of conduct? Yes says some sources. The opposition leader in the state cast his vote in a polling booth of Jubilee Hills along with his wife Bhuvaneswari, Son Lokesh and daughter-in-law Brahmini. After casting the vote, Chandra Babu announced that he had to vote to BJP since both assembly and parliament are given to BJP as a part of the alliance.

“It is sad that I am not able to vote for Telugu Desam Party. We went in to alliance with BJP for larger interests of the nation. The voters who are exercising their right to vote are the hope of this country’s future”, said Chandra Babu. However the leader seemed to have violated the election code by revealing his vote. According to rules, in such case the vote will be considered invalid. We will have to see what decision does Election Commission take in this occasion!
