Few National media sources have published an interesting update about the upcoming elections. They have quoted that BJP is also considering Chandra Babu Naidu as their standby Prime Minister candidate. Narendra Modi, the current Prime Minister candidate may not hold good if BJP scores less than 200 seats in the elections. In such case they have to bank on other regional parties to form the government.
Modi may not be acceptable for many parties due to his communal remark. If it happens, BJP may project Chandra Babu Naidu who is familiar and in good terms with most national parties across the country. Chandra Babu was one of the trusted allies of NDA during their rule but both of them parted ways later. There are indications that both TDP and BJP are coming to terms for the next elections.
