Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has announced the capital being near Vijayawada in the Assembly on Thursday. But he withheld disclosing exact location for the capital for reasons best known to him. Few sources in the government tells M9.news that Chandra Babu has 2-3 options in mind and will finalize one up on the land availability and farmers agreeing up on the land pooling proposal of the government.
It is known that the government has already appointed a committee and the committee will finalize the land pooling formula and approach the farmers and private parties very soon. It is said that Chandra Babu is planning to announce the exact location on October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanthi unless there is a delay over the clarity regarding land acquisition. Speculations are on a high that the capital will come in Mangalagiri or Nuziveedu. Real Estate prices are skyrocketing at several places in and around Vijayawada with the speculations of the capital.
