Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is gearing up for a major overhaul in his administrative setup. He recently spoke one on one to the Senior IAS and IPS officers. It is said that Naidu is extremely courteous with them and declared that he will be appointing them in the department of their choice provided they fulfil his targets. He asked his bureaucrats to give 2-3 choices of the work so that he can work out their preferences.

The officials were even inquired about the difficulties they have (like Children’s education) to relocate to Vijayawada, the next capital of Andhra Pradesh.Chandra Babu has confirmed them that shifting of government offices to Vijayawada will be limited to commissionerates and directorates. Heads of departments will continue to work from Hyderabad for next two years.

It is said that all the officials are extremely pleased with Naidu’s courteous behaviour and promised him to work hard. The cadre allocation between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is expected to be complete this month and once it is over, Naidu will make the final appointments. It is primarily learnt that Chandra Babu is keen to leave tainted officers out of his team and he had already informed the officials about it.
