CM had ordered all the departments to identify projects that can be aided by the center under Special Status scheme and the project which fulfill the criteria prescribed by the World Bank. In his previous tenures, Chandra Babu very effectively liaisoned the help of World Bank and brought grants for several infrastructural projects in AP. He is focusing on repeating the same task once again for the deficit budget state.

The major sectors covered in the project are agriculture, fishing, and forestry, public administration, law and justice, information and communications, education, finance, and health and other social services, energy and mining, transportation, water, sanitation and flood protection, industry and trade. So teams are formed to prepare projections for the projects in each department and to present their case effectively before the Central government and World Bank.
