As per the information to M9.news from the most trusted sources in Telugu Desam Party, Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is moving pawns to give a big shock to Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is said that Chandra Babu is lining up a mass exodus of YSR Congress MLAs and MPs who are ready to join TDP at a time on one fine day.
It is known that Chandra Babu is touring a district every week. He is speaking to the location leaders there during the nights and preparing the list of the new joinees. While some YSRCP MLAs and MPs are excited to join TDP immediately, Chandra Babu is of the opinion that joining one or two will not have any effect so is preferring the mass joinings route.
If the joinings are at the rate of 50% of the total MLAs and MPs, they can even escape the defection law. But such move will be a death blow to Jagan’s political career which is already reeling under severe pressure due to recent defeat. Currently in the 175 seats AP Assembly, TDP has 102 MLAs and YSR Congress has 67 MLAs. TDP also has 4 MLAs from BJP and 2 Independents supporting.
