Chandra Babu seem to be at his best politically once he is back in power. The leader who was in opposition for 10 years is trying to make a mark on the state. He is trying all means to get funds from the center for the development of the New Andhra Pradesh. As a part of it, he is going to offer the Rajya Sabha seat vacant due to death of Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy to BJP. Currently, Union Ministers Prakash Javadekar and Niramala Seetha Raman are not the members of any house.
They should be nominated to Rajya Sabha within 6 months.Chandra Babu wants to offer Nirmala Seetha Raman the Rajya Sabha seat. She is currently Minister of State for Commerce and Industry. He feels that she will be of good use to Seema Andhra in future. Also this will put Seema Andhra in the good books of Modi. Though Nirmala Seetha Raman hails from Tamil Nadu. She is a daughter-in-law of Seema Andhra. Her husband, Parakala Prabhakar leads the Visalandhra Maha Sabha and played active role in Samayikya Andhra movement.
