Challenge Vs History Dilemma For Pawan Kalyan!Janasena President Pawan Kalyan had lost from both the constituencies he contested in 2019 elections. There is curiosity if Pawan Kalyan will contests from either or both the seats ( Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka) in 2024 as well.

Meanwhile, Janasena Supporters want him to contest from Kakinada City constituency in 2024 against Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy. Pawan is targeting Dwarampudi’s corruption big time in the last two years.

Dwarampudi is responding to that in filthy language and is not even sparing Pawan Kalyan’s family in the abuses. He has now challenged that he would ensure Pawan Kalyan’s defeat in whichever constituency he contests in East Godavari district.

Janasainiks are exerting pressure on the party president to contest on Dwarampudi himself. But then, it is not an easy constituency to choose because of caste equations. Kapus are the biggest vote bank in the Kakinada Urban Assembly segment.

But in the history of this constituency, only once a Kapu candidate won here as an MLA. That too when freedom fighter Mallipudi Pallam Raju was elected from the constituency in the 50s.

After Mallipudi Pallam Raju, C.V.K.Rao (belonging to the BC community), Dantu Bha-skara Rao (Brahmin), Malladi Swamy and Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao (members of the fishermen community), Mootha Gopalakrishna (Vysya) and now Dwarampudi (Reddy) were elected MLAs for the constituency.

Moreover, Dwarampudi is a cash cow and it will play a very crucial role in the election. After losing from two seats in 2019, Pawan would want to play safe this time to ensure an entry into the assembly. So, it has to be seen if he can take the risk.

There is a different argument from Janasena supporters. Kapu and Fishermen communities are in majority in this segment. We have seen Janasena trying to woo the fishermen community recently by fighting against G.O. 217 brought by Jagan Government to harm the interests of the community.

If that attempts were successful, Kapu polarization due to Pawan Kalyan and Fishermen community make make things easy, they believe.
