The Three capitals proposal of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is struck in courts. The farmers in Amaravati who have given their lands to the Government as a part of Land Pooling have approached the court against the idea.
The hearings about these petitions are likely to begin in November. But then, the Union Government seems to have Recognized Vishakapatnam already as the capital of Andhra Pradesh even though the matter is sub-judice.
While answering to a question about the rising fuel prices across the country, the central government has put up statewise breakup of Petrol Prices with variations of State Taxes and Levies. The prices in various states capitals were listed in a table format.
In the table, Vishakapatnam is mentioned as the Capital of Andhra Pradesh. Previously the center made similar mistake in an RTI reply and later apologized for the same. But it has repeated once again.
