Central Government 'Kaaki Lekkalu' on Andhra Pradesh Revenue DeficitCentral Government is mandated to reimburse the first year Revenue deficit of Andhra Pradesh post the state bifurcation. While AP government puts it at over 16000 Crore, Center is trying its level best to downsize the total by various objections.

After several such objections, Center puts the Revenue Deficit at 4117 Crore. The Central Government claims to have given 3979 Crore in this account and says it has to pay only 138 Crore which will be released very soon.

The Center’s Apathy is so shocking that it has even refused to consider PFs and Pensions of Retired Employees as a part of the 2014-15 deficit which is absolutely shocking. But then, with an absolute majority of its own, BJP at the Center has almost become unilateral with no one to ask.
