Is-Pawan-Kalyan's-Defense-on-Films-Comeback-FairUnion Government had washed off its hands on the Capital Shift. In a written answer to a query by TDP MP Jayadev Galla, the central government has categorically said it is the state’s business where to locate its capital. The center also refused to intervene in the matter.

Galla Jayadev had sought to know whether the central government would advise the state not to resort to three capitals, which would not only vitiate the investment climate in the state but also cause a great loss to the thousands of farmers who gave their land for construction of a capital city in Amaravati.

This will be an obvious disappointment for the TDP and Amaravati farmers, Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena will also stand to lose. Janasena recently allied with BJP and was confidently saying that Amaravati will continue to be the capital of Andhra Pradesh going further.

And the refusal of the Center to intervene also means that Janasena could not influence the BJP on this issue which will be seen as a failure. There were rumors that continuing Amaravati was a pre-condition for the alliance. With no special allocations for AP in the Union Budget and Center washing off its hands on Amaravati, Janasena will have nothing to say why it allied with BJP.
