kcr-telangana-debtsWhile Andhra Pradesh is lamenting of Central government not helping it appropriately, Telangana’s condition is not different. According to the government sources, except in the share of Central taxes, the Center is not kind to the state in various grants (interest free loans).

In its first budget, Telangana government estimated that it will receive 31469 Crores in the 10 months of 2014-15 fiscal. But till January 18th (7 months 18 days), the state received only 10548 Crores from the center which is 33.52% of the estimation.

Telagnana government is in severe displeasure regarding this callous attitude of the center towards the new state but has no options to corner the government in whatsoever way. Ahead of the Union Budget in February, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao asked the officials to increase pressure on the Center.
