If the media reports are to be believed, Andhra Pradesh government had submitted the evidences of phone tapping of its ministers and officials to the Central government through Chief Secretary, IYR Krishna Rao.
Reports suggest that the evidences include details of tapping of 35 telephones of the AP government, names and details of two telecom service providers who allegedly aided the TRS regime in the tapping, involvement of three AIS officers of the Telangana cadre in this episode, and copy of a letter allegedly written by a senior IAS officer of Telangana to a service provider authorizing the tapping.
Krishna Rao had a series of meetings with the Telecom Secretary and Home Ministry officials on Thursday and presented the data which his government claims to be proofs. Central government is now carefully verifying the data submitted before initiating an probe in to the allegations which have the potential of toppling the Telagana government.
