ashok-gajapthi-rajuIn an interview to a private News Channel, Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju accused Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as the root cause of all the problems that arose between the Telugu states after the state bifurcation. Ashok Gajapathi Raju revealed that Center has identified these problems and wanted to sort them before the appointed day but could not due to lack of co-operation from KCR.

“Home Minister Rajnath Singh wanted to postpone the appointed day by 10 days and call for a meeting of the stake holders to solve all the issues before the appointed day. But KCR was then so eager to swear in as the Chief Minister did not co-operate. He even exerted pressure on Center to go for the appointed day early”, Raju said.

Ashok Gajapathi Raju confidently said center is committed to all the promises made to Andhra Pradesh during the bifurcation and will be clearing them one after the other including the Special Status.
