Center Summons AP Chief Secretary to DelhiUnion Home Ministry has summoned the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh to Delhi for an ad-hoc meeting on 23rd of this month. The meeting will be attended by the officials of the Prime Minister’s Office and Railway Board Officials.

The Chief Secretary was asked to bring along with him the proposals of the state government and the status reports of various issues. Andhra Pradesh officials are busy preparing the necessary reports for this meeting.

The meeting assumes significance in the ongoing agitation in the state over the poor allocations in the recently tabled Union Budget. NDA Partner TDP has set time until the start of the budget session to resolve the issues while the Opposition is already threatening with a no-confidence motion and the resignation of MPs.
