Center Serious On Jagan GovernmentThe central government has become serious about the AP government. The AP government has not given an explanation for the misuse of MPLADS funds. The Center has directed the AP to send an immediate report on the spending of MPLADS funds for the construction of churches.

Central Statistics and Planning Ministry has sent letters to the Chief Secretary to Government and the Chief Secretary to the State Planning Department to send the report immediately as it has to be reported to the Prime Minister’s Office. MP Nandigam Suresh had given over Rs 40 lakh from his MPLADS funds for the construction of a church.

After the news in the media, YSR Congress Rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju complained to the Prime Minister about it. Two months ago, the statistics and planning department sent a letter to the state government asking it to submit a report on the issue. After no response, Ramya, the deputy director of the statistics department, sent another letter now to AP CS as the second reminder.
