Center seeks law dept advice on KCR’s control on HydThe controversial, Giving Powers to the Governor in the common capital is back again on the scene. Andhra Pradesh government has been pressing for this in its series of meetings with the Union Home Ministry officials and Telangana government has marked a strict protest against such move saying that it will amount to annexing the powers of the state.

The issue came up in the meeting of Union home secretary Anil Goswami with the Chief Secretaries of both the states on Friday. Amid both the contradicting views, The center is now contemplating to seek the advice of the law department.
