Andhra Pradesh says that these projects are new projects and can not be taken up by without the permission of the Apex Council. On the other side, Telangana says G.Os for these projects are out in the United State itself.

The first Apex Council meeting happened last month did not take any decision on these projects. With both the states sticking to their arguments, center refused to take any decision on these projects and only informed both the states that it will arrange the Apex Council meeting whenever they want to resolve the issue amicably.

It is known that Supreme Court went on to say that these projects are new as Andhra Pradesh government said and directed the Central government to solve the issue amicably after consultations with both the states.
