Center's Helping Hand to Andhra Pradesh At the Right TimeIn what can be termed as a major relief to Andhra Pradesh which is suffering due to dwindling finances, the Union Government had released 1734 Crore funds. These are the pending funds to Andhra Pradesh over the years from the Union Forests Ministry. They were kept pending to torment Chandrababu Naidu.

YSR Congress Government managed to convince the Union Government to release these funds. The cheque came at a time when the government has to begin the disbursal of salaries and pensions in two days. Last month, there are inordinate delays in giving salaries and pensions creating chaos.

The State Government officials are relieved that such a situation will be averted this month. Union Environmental Minister, Prakash Javadekar handed over the Cheque to State Forests Minister, Balineni Srinivas Reddy at a meeting of all Forest Ministers in the country

This gesture indicates that YSR Congress is in the good books of BJP central leadership despite the State Leadership making some noise here.
