Center given 10 days to resolve power staff issues!Hyderabad High court on Tuesday was very serious on central government’s insensitive attitude towards resolving the ongoing tussle between Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana affecting over 1,200 power sector employees.

The court had given the center 10 days deadline to immediately interfere and solve the issue. These relieved staff were not paid for more than three and half months. Telangana authorities defend their claim as they are under obligation to retain employees of AP origin for only one year.

The court reminded the central government that AP Reorganization Act entrust the responsibility with the Union government, if the two warring states fail to arrive at a consensus. The case was posted to September 3 for reviewing the progress.
