Center Doubts the State Domestic Production Numbers of TelanganaCentral Government has raised its eyebrows over the Gross State Domestic Production figures sent by the Telangana state government which will be used to finalize the market loans that the state can borrow in the current financial year.

The Union ministry of statistics and program implementation has sought further details for possible economic and purpose classification errors. Center doubts that the state has shown a much higher GDP, so that they get to have more loans.

In the previous year, Telangana was allowed to make market borrowings of 18000 crores. The state is expecting the permission to borrow 24000 crore. This will ensure enough funding to several ambitious schemes of the KCR Government.
