Telangana government is asking to divide Krishna water between Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and AP after the state bifurcation. But Maharashtra and Karnataka are saying that the re-allocation will now have to be done only between AP and Telangana.

This case now reached the Supreme Court and Center reiterated the stand of Maharashtra and Karnataka on this issue. It will come as huge disappointment to Telangana government now. The case is now posted to December 10th for further hearing. The center should decide up on the water allocations between both the states to avoid further issues.
