Central Government finally bowed down with Andhra Pradesh MPs agitating in the house for the last one week. The center has agreed to give the amount of Revenue Deficit as suggested by the 14th Finance Commission for the ten months of 2014-15 Fiscal.

The Center also agreed to release the installments of three years immediately. The central government has also agreed to help Amaravati and asked the state government to come up with the expenses. The loss as a result of not giving the Special Status will be covered by EAPs.

Center has agreed to approve the pending proposals immediately. It was also agreed to announce Special Railway Zone as soon as Possible. The center has also agreed to construct a port in lieu of Duggarajapatnam Port which was deemed to be not feasible.

The state government will suggest the alternate location. Center will fund the project and will also get all the necessary permissions. A Petro-Chemical Complex and Steel Factory in Kadapa (in PPP Model) are also promised. This was decided in a meeting by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, BJP President Amit Shah, and Union Minister from TDP, Sujana Chowdary.
