Center Asks States to Emulate AP ModelCentral Government has heaped praises on the Fiber Grid Project underway in Andhra Pradesh and asked all the other states to emulate this model. The Fiber Grid Project gives Television Services, the Internet, and Telephone for just 149 Rupees.

Central Government told the states that they have estimated this project at 5000 Crores but Andhra Pradesh government has innovated and ensured that the project is complete in just 333 Crores. Niti Aayog and Union IT Communications Ministry has recommended this model to the other states.

They also heaped praises on the Real Time Governance being implemented in the state. Various States have evinced interest in these models and sought permission to AP government to allow them to visit the state and review these projects directly.
