The district has 19 constituencies and the party which wins majority seats here will form the government according to the sentiment. East Godavari has good number of Kapu voters, the caste of Pawan Kalyan.
The district also has big fan base for Pawan Kalyan. So, the actor is being used there to attract the major community towards TDP and BJP. Pawan Kalyan will start his East Godavari tour with his first public meeting in Rajahmundry tomorrow at 1 PM. This will be the first solo meeting of Pawan Kalyan in Seema Andhra region. He is also expected to tour West Godavari after East tour.
