CBI Objects CM Jagan's Davos TripIt is known to our readers that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is on a bail in disproportionate assets cases. He can not leave the country without court permission.

That does not change even if he is the Chief Minister and is going on official trips. The Chief Minister on Friday requested the CBI Court to allow him to go to Davos.

The court has allowed him to travel between 19th and 31st of this month. Judge VVR Varaprasad ordered to furnish a phone number and email ids to the court and the CBI to know the CM’s tour and to contact if necessary.

Lawyer G Ashok Reddy argued the petition on the behalf of Jagan.

CBI counsel argued to reject the permission since it would delay the trial. After hearing the arguments, the judge ruled in favor of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

After criticizing Chandrababu Naidu for wasting money on World Economic Forum Summit visits (Davos), Jagan will be going to Davos for the same Summit three years into his rule.
