CBI Court JaganYSRCP rebel MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju filed a petition with the CBI Court, requesting for the cancelation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bail, with respect to the 11 cases of which he is a part of, and is the no. 1 accused.

Initially, Raju’s petition was not accepted due to technical issues but accepted when it was submitted by Raju for the second time. The CBI court in Nampally has now decided to take up this petition, after listening to several arguments. The petition is now expected to be put on number one, following which notices will be sent to the CBI and to the accused, YS Jagan.

Notices have now been sent to Jagan and the CBI, and they have been asked to submit affidavits, with their explanation written in them. The first hearing of the case is scheduled for May 7th.

The petition that Raju filed specifically mentions two points – that Jagan hasn’t attended a single hearing after becoming the Chief Minister, and that he’s giving important positions to others who have been accused along with them. It is now to be seen where this case in the CBI court will go.
