With the elections approaching and the CM post vacant, Congress ministers have begun using their tactics of grabbing votes in the name of Caste. Until recently, they have used the mantra of ‘Jai Telangana’ or ‘Jai Samaikhyandhra’ knowing that people of either region will support them if they stood by. But now, since the division is over, they’ve jumped to using the names of Caste to acquire support.
With not just the CM’s post but also the availability of two PCCs, if presidential rule takes over, Congress ministers have a lot to work for. They’ve reached new heights of grabbing votes through caste names saying that if a caste gave them support, they’ll reward the people of that caste.
Although Congress party is facing many problems regarding the bifurcation of the state and the coming elections, the ministers of Seemandhra only seem to be hungry to grab the CMs post and for achieving that, they have not backed down on provoking people with the names of castes.
People must realize that it’s time they chose a truly genuine government for the upcoming years to watch development instead of voting based on their caste and class.
