Reports are emerging that Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is finally shifting to Guntur from Hyderabad. We are told that the party leaders have chosen Tadepalli for Jagan’s residence cum party officer. Tadepalli is strategically chosen because of the presence of Reddy community.
The mandal is predominantly held by the Reddy community and so the Opposition Leader is comfortable. In Guntur district, the Reddy community is strong in the Palnadu region. Guntur district as a whole is Kamma dominated politically.
Jagan wants to be in the capital area and at the same time, wants the comfort given by the Reddy Community in Tadepalli. Unlike Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan is keen on buying a house rather than renting to assure people that he is their man.
