Cash for Vote case becomes a costly affair for TS governmentTelangana government had taken the case of Cash for Vote very prestigious as it will pin down Revanth Reddy the biggest rival of KCR after coming to power. The Chief Minister also plans to decimate Telugu Desam Party in the state with this case.

But the case is proving to be very costly for the state government. Earlier the government had used the services of Senior Supreme Court lawyer Ram Jethmalani to argue against the bail petition of Revanth Reddy. Even though Revanth was granted bail, the state government had to shell 52 Lakhs for the lawyer.

This is just a tip of the ice berg and we can only imagine the total expense already incurred by Telangana ACB until now and in future on this case. However the case had slowed down significantly after Revanth Reddy’s release.
